Robert B. Pollack, M.D., FACS is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A native of New Jersey , he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors in biochemistry and went on to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia . After completion of five years of general surgery residency at the University of California , Irvine Medical Center , he trained for an additional two years in plastic surgery at the University of North Carolina , Chapel Hill . He has been in private practice in San Diego since 1997. He is a member of many local and national medical organizations including the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in post-bariatric plastic surgery including thigh lifts, abdominoplasty, buttock lift, breast lift with and without implants, arm lift, as well as necklift and facelift. Dr. Pollack is able to perform most surgery as an outpatient in his state-of-the-art office surgery suite.
